winning the premier league does not entitle you to think that you can challenge for it every season. Leicester were always a smaller club who were always going to be somewhere near the bottom of the table, and what they did last season was a miracle not only in spite of but because of that fact. They were always punching above their weight, and that they are back to where they were previously is not an ignominious slide from dizzying heights but the facing of reality. Is Ranieri at fault for losing his best player? For the underperformances of his other so-called star players? For not being able to win in Europe, which is chock full of quality teams? For getting results that would normally be accepted, albeit with some measure of resignation?

Leicester City won the premier league. They got past the group stages of the champions’ league. If Ranieri was British he’d probably have a knighthood by now. To sack him is to ignore everything he’s done for the club, to demean his achievements and dismiss them as insignificant, to disrespect him and the league tbh, and it’s just plain wrong. It’s the Leicester bosses getting too big for their britches and normalising a miracle. This was a one-off. It was always going to be a one-off. For them to expect otherwise is ridiculous. The very fact that it happened should have meant that Ranieri was given all the time in the world to continue.

winning the premier league does not entitle you to think that you can challenge for it every season. This is football gone wrong, where the desire for immediate gratification and results outweighs all sense of achievement, loyalty, narrative. Ranieri’s better off without those ugly asses.

This very clearly feeds into a very specific agenda a group of brits have. I’m guessing him and his friend weren’t speaking English in the airport.

yeah i think he was alleged to have said it in german? but possibly because it was more than likely swiss-german it sounded even more foreign? idk what to make of it tbh. the person who overheard it obviously speaks german themselves (or maybe not ogjewogewjh)

Idk if you noticed but in Iwobis snapchat story of Jeff there's someone taking off his underwear in the background. My guess is Giroud 😂😂

Have you actually spoken to him [Dele Alli] this week about everything that’s happened? Did you think the suspension was harsh given the situation with his age, et cetera.?
Do you know, it’s difficult to judge his action now. It’s true that when you make a mistake you need to pay. And he knows. He knows that he made a mistake. It’s his first season in the Premier League, he’s very young, he’s a talented player. He knows. [x]
